I bought this for a backpacking and hiking trip in the backwoods of Glacier NP with my 5 year old twins. It’s something for me and them to sit on as they take frequent breaks and enjoy the view. It cleans up super easy and there was enough room for 3 of us to sit. Pretty light that some times I forget it’s in my pack. Thinking of getting my wife one
While I like the towel and do appreciate that it was a free offering within a promotion, it’s a bit small. While it’s not an adult sized beach towel, it could be used as a chair cover, a child’s beach towel, or a handy towel for hiking or camping. It’s lightweight, has a high quality weave, is durable, and it does dry fairly quickly. I have its big brother that I’ve used as a car seat cover for over 6 months and can say with confidence that due to its dense weave and the stitch pattern used, it’s very well made. I would expect it to last several years without losing its original look if some care is taken to clean it regularly and avoid unnecessary abuse.
The only issue I would address at the manufacturing level is to evaluate the design of the hanger cord and how it’s fastened. My cord released from one end under normal use. By Increasing the surface area stitched (by adding length or flattening the cord at the ends) and the stitch density (modifying the pattern to include overlapping stitches or utilizing a multiple box and X pattern that terminates with a knot that can’t unravel) the issue should be resolved.
