QUESTIONS

Things to Know

How do I stay cool on a long run in hot weather?

Heat management comes down to slowing your core temperature rise before it starts. The Nomadix Ice Bandana packs ice into a MicroSuede pocket that drips slowly over time, keeping your neck cool for the long haul. Pair it with a quick-dry towel for post-run and you have a simple, effective heat strategy that adds almost no pack weight.

What is the Nomadix Ice Bandana?

A cooling bandana built around a zippered pocket that holds ice. As the ice melts, the MicroSuede fabric releases cool water gradually, keeping your neck cold over a longer stretch than a standard wet bandana. No ice? It works as a regular bandana too. UPF 50+, quiet zipper, and machine washable.

What is MicroSuede made from?

MicroSuede is Nomadix's signature fabric, made from 88% recycled polyester and 12% nylon. The weave creates micro gaps in the yarn that fill with liquid on contact, so it absorbs fast and releases slowly. Thin, soft, and light enough to forget you're wearing it.

Can I machine wash the Ice Bandana?

Yes. Machine wash cold and tumble dry. No special care routine required.

What is the Brooks x Nomadix collab?

Brooks Running and Nomadix partnered to build a run-specific gear collection in Brooks colorways. The pieces currently available are a Fitness Towel and two Bandana Towels, all made from Nomadix's post-consumer recycled materials and designed specifically to move from the road to recovery.

What is a running fitness towel used for?

A fitness towel is lighter and more compact than a standard towel, designed to go wherever your run takes you. Use it to wipe down mid-run, cool off at the finish line, or clean up after a post-race stretch. The Brooks x Nomadix Fitness Towel is quick-drying and made from recycled materials, so it packs small and handles the sweat load of an actual workout.

Why do I need a car seat cover after a run?

Sweat, mud, and moisture destroy car upholstery over time, especially leather and suede finishes. The Nomadix Car Seat Cover is made from MicroTerry™ with silicone grips built into the hood so it locks onto your headrest and stays in place while you drive. Throw it on before you get in, pull it off when you're done, and your seats stay clean.

Does the Nomadix Car Seat Cover fit all car seats?

The silicone-grip hood is designed to fit over standard headrests and hold securely during transit. It is built as a universal fit cover for everyday driver and passenger seats.

Is the Nomadix Run Kit good for trail running or just road running?

Both. The Ice Bandana handles heat on any terrain, the towels pack into a vest or drop bag without bulk, and the Car Seat Cover handles the aftermath whether you drove to a trailhead or a road race. The kit was designed around the real logistics of a run day, not a specific surface.

What running gear should I bring to a half marathon or marathon?

The non-negotiables: something to manage sweat and heat mid-race, a compact towel for the finish area, and a way to protect your car on the drive home. The Nomadix Run Kit covers all three: Ice Bandana for cooling, a Brooks x Nomadix towel for recovery, and a Car Seat Cover for the ride back.

Are Nomadix products good for runners?

Nomadix products are designed to be compact, quick-dry, and durable enough for real use. The collab with Brooks Running was built specifically for the running community, and the Car Seat Cover and Ice Bandana came out of a genuine problem: runners needed gear that could keep up with their routine, not just sit in a gear closet.
