This is very portable and useful as a back up carry bag for groceries, pool or beach gear or anything else where a recyclable little bag comes in handy!
I never thought I would be excited about a tote bag, but this one is amazing. It folds down into a small square that easily fits into my fanny pack, so I have it with me anywhere I go. When I'm out on my bike and remember a few grocery items I need, I always have a shopping bag with me (which is kind of a big deal in Europe). I like seeing the surprised look on people's faces when I pull it out and unfold it into this quite large bag that holds all my groceries. I haven't tested the rip-strength of the fabric but it seems quite strong to me. This tote bag exceeded all my expectations. Also, I'm not the most dexterous person in the world, but I have no trouble quickly folding it back up into its built-in pouch each time - just take note of how it was folded the first time you use it.
