Nomadix Announces Partnership With The Ecology Center

We Talk Sustainability, Community, & New Collaboration Launch

Nomadix, the California-based Social Purpose Corporation that specializes in responsibly manufactured multi-purpose towels, has announced a partnership with The Ecology Center, a 28-acre regenerative organic farm in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, California. The Ecology Center’s mission is to connect people to their food and community through education, community-supported agriculture boxes, and their Nourishing Neighbors program, in which it gives back 20% of what it grows to families in the community.

“When you look at a business becoming more sustainable, there are all types of things that we do - such as better manufacturing with post-consumer materials, and how we package, ship, and receive our products. One of the most important ways is to get involved locally with a cause that you can sort of touch and feel, and that is why we chose The Ecology Center. It is a local farm, and it’s one of the first in the country to be certified regenerative,” said Zack Helminiak, CEO at Nomadix.

Nomadix is not only supporting five families through the Nourishing Neighbors program year-round, but we have also collaborated with The Ecology Center & Cody Hudson for a new print, where 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly back to The Ecology Center.

“We are a for-profit company but we put money aside to give back to our community and to help the environment,” said Mia Helminiak, Director of Community Engagement at Nomadix. “The Ecology Center was of course one of the first places that came to mind because if we lift up our community, everyone does better. And that is where The Ecology Center comes in, with their Nourishing Neighbors Program. Families not only get fresh vegetables and fruits that are organic and nourishing for their families, but it also comes with locally sourced pantry staples.”

The towel will be available online & at The Ecology Center’s Farm Stand.

“As Nomadix grows, our contribution to give back will grow. And so I really hope that in the coming months, we’ll be able to support more than just five families,” added Mia Helminiak.
