Nomadix Ambassador Zia Suarez Talks Traveling Tips - Nomadix
Nomadix Team • 28 October 2022

Longtime Nomadix ambassador Zia Suarez recently traveled to Scotland, the land of beautiful lochs, breathtaking views of the high and lowlands, and incredibly rich history.

For Suarez, camping, surfing, bungee jumping, road tripping, castle visiting, highland cattle petting - you name it, she did it. Suarez sat down to give a few traveling tips for the UK & got into why she loved bringing the puffer blanket with her and how it helped keep her warm in the cold, wet weather of Scotland.

Was it your first time visiting Scotland? What activities did you do?

Yes, it was my first time in Scotland and in the UK.

We did many activities: camping, surfing, bungee jumping, road tripping, castle visiting, highland cattle petting.

Any tips for first-time travelers to the country?

First time traveler tip to Scotland: bring waterproof gear, it rains a lot and gets very wet!

Especially shoes. Make sure you bring a towel to dry off when you get caught in rain storms.

You were able to bring the Nomadix Puffer Blanket with you on your travels to Scotland. What did you love about it?

The puffer was great to use as a cloak while you move around outside, especially when you’re under prepared or don’t have enough warm clothes, it really gives you the extra warmth and comfort to stay longer outside.
