The DayTripper Collection is three everyday-carry bags built from StormGrid™, a 100% recycled polyester fabric engineered to be water-resistant and abrasion-resistant. The collection includes the DayTripper 25L Backpack (20" x 13" x 6", 2 lb 4 oz), the DayTripper 26L Tote (20" x 14" x 7", 1 lb 5 oz), and the Traveler Tech Pouch 3L Sling (10.5" x 6" x 4", 8 oz). All three come in Deep Sea Blue, Raven Black, and Driftwood Off-White.
They are water-resistant. All three DayTripper bags are made from StormGrid™, a 100% recycled polyester with a PFAS-free DWR finish that sheds rain, splashes, and spills. That means your laptop stays dry in a downpour on the walk from the car to the office. It does not mean the bags are dry bags, so don't submerge them or leave them sitting in standing water. StormGrid™ is also abrasion-resistant, so it holds up to being dropped on gravel, shoved under a seat, and thrown in a truck bed.
Get the 25L Backpack if you carry a full day's worth of gear and want it hands-free. It has a padded ventilated back panel, adjustable padded shoulder straps, a chest strap, a 16" padded laptop sleeve, a separate tablet sleeve, and eight organized pockets including a zippered fleece glasses pocket. Get the 26L Tote if you want faster top-down access and a lighter bag. At 1 lb 5 oz it weighs about a pound less than the backpack, holds slightly more volume, and has a reinforced padded bottom so it holds its shape. Both fit a 16" laptop, both have dual water bottle pockets, and both have a luggage handle pass-through.
Yes. At 20" x 13" x 6", the DayTripper 25L Backpack fits within the 22" x 14" x 9" carry-on allowance used by most major U.S. airlines. It also has a luggage handle pass-through so it slides over the handle of a roller bag, and a padded 16" laptop sleeve that makes security checkpoints easier. Personal-item size limits vary by airline and are tighter than carry-on limits, so check your carrier if you plan to fly with it under the seat.
Both the DayTripper 25L Backpack and the DayTripper 26L Tote have a padded laptop sleeve that fits up to a 16" laptop. The backpack adds a second padded sleeve sized for a tablet or e-reader, so you can carry both without them knocking together.
Yes. The DayTripper 25L Backpack has a dedicated interior zippered smart tracker pocket, sized for a Bluetooth tracker and tucked inside the bag. It's one of three interior zippered pockets, alongside a fleece-lined glasses pocket and a mesh pocket.
The Traveler Tech Pouch fits an iPad Mini, a Kindle, and foldable noise-canceling headphones at the same time, plus cords and small accessories in the stretch mesh pockets. It opens wide for easy access without spilling, has a central divider with a card sleeve, and an exterior pocket that fits a small power bank. At 10.5" x 6" x 4" it also packs inside either the 25L Backpack or the 26L Tote.
